The toast to the symbiotic relationship between those wine makers and designers who understand the symbolic message behind the interlink between priceless heritage and creativity, and who, in their endeavours for aesthetic perfection and respect for the qualities of wine, have created a series of new wine bottle designs in the first two decades of the Slovenian state.

All those who are friends of Slovenia, and devotees of high-quality wine and Slovenian design are cordially invited to attend.

The event is prepared by the Government Communication Office of the Republic of Slovenia and the Museum of Architecture and Design.

Do you dare to spend – some minutes, an hour or whole day – in silence? We invite you to join us in a quiet needle working of canvas wall with Slovenian motifs. In London, we will begin to create a textile group piece. After two days of work, embroidery in silence continued around the world. In Ljubljana, Stockholm and Helsinki, and from there on. Come and experience the silence and become co-creator of travelling embroidery. Silent Connection is a textile installation in progress. It’s intention is to offer to visitors moments of peace, relaxation and concentration. * You can also visit Oloop Design Group, Slovenian brand BelaBela and Room 39 at Tent London, Old Truman Brewery main exhibition halls in F02.

The talk will also feature presentations from Gérard Laizé, CEO of VIA, for 100% France and Vibeke Skar for 100% Norway.
