In the two-day workshop on in-depth reading and writing about art, the complexity of different writing genres is going to be addressed and a discussion opened about the need for writing “outside” hermetically closed art circles, and instead serving the needs and interests of various communities.

 

The workshop will be conducted by Art Historian, Curator and Visual Arts and Culture Theorist Suzana Milevska (Skopje). Milevska received her doctorate from Goldsmiths College in London and deals with the post-colonial critic of a hegemonic power in the field of art, gender theory and feminisms in artistic practices, as well as socially engaged and participatory artistic practices.
