As a live contribution to [Home at Arsenale] – Pavilion of Slovenia, Pascale and Christian Pottgiesser, cofounders of French practice Architecturespossibles, will present Common Ault Home, their ongoing project in Ault on the Channel coastline opening a discussion about the new definitions of home in the era of massive tourism, AirbnB, and how architecture may be conceived in a wide-range collaborative approach, bringing together knowledge, experiences and lives.
Christian Pottgiesser, architect DPLG, RIBA, lives and works in Paris,born in 1965, Germany, d.p.l.g. at the Ecole d’Architecture Paris-Villeminin 1991, d.e.a. in philosophy at the Paris 1, Panth.on Sorbonne in 1995. In 1991 opening of the first architectural firm. He is co-founder of ‘christian pottgiesser architecturespossibles’ in 2000. He was visiting professor at the ENSA VT in 2013. Currently he is teaching at the ENSA PVS. Pascale Thomas Pottgiesser, born in 1962 at Le Havre, France, is an artist. She lives and works in Paris. Graduated from the Ecole des Beaux Arts, 1986, she collaborates since 2002 with Christian Pottgiesser. Partner of ‘christian pottgiesser architecturespossibles’ in 2005. The diversity of architecture, design and landscape-projects ranges from small scales, including private homes and gardens, to larger scales like urban design. The residential, cultural and working-space projects have been broadly published and the practice has been awarded with international prizes, such as the RIBA Manser Medal in 2012.
