The five finalists of the EU Prize for Contemporary Architecture – Mies van der Rohe Award 2019 will be publicly presented for the first time at the Creative Exchange 2019.

The European Commission and the Mies van der Rohe Foundation have in January announced the shortlisted works that will compete for the 2019 EU Prize for Contemporary Architecture – Mies van der Rohe Award. The 40 shortlisted projects spread out in 17 countries were selected from among 383 nominees.

The Award Ceremony will take place on 7 May 2019 at the Mies van der Rohe Pavilion in Barcelona.

The presentation in Ljubljana will take place in the framework of the Future Architecture platform conference organised by the Museum of Architecture and Design (MAO). The Future Architecture Platform and the Mies van der Rohe Award are the central projects financed by the European Commission in the field of architecture.
