Centre for Creativity (CzK) to Operate under the Auspices of MAO

1. 7. 2017—31. 12. 2020

The Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy has issued the Decision to support the operation Platform CzK.

Centre for Creativity (CzK) builds upon MAO’s many years of activities and sets up an interdisciplinary platform to support Slovenia’s cultural and creative sector (CCS). The Centre’s activities will focus on architecture, design, art, heritage and other areas of CCS and will promote cross-sectoral cooperation. It will encourage integration between CCS, companies and other sectors – cooperation between private, government and non-government sectors, science, education, tourism and different creative groups and individuals. The project will also enable MAO to provide an important part of the supportive environment for innovations in the Republic of Slovenia and will form a systemic part of the overall framework of this supportive environment.

The investment is co-financed by the EU European Regional Development Fund and the Republic of Slovenia. The operation is implemented under the Operational Programme for the Implementation of EU Cohesion Policy for the Period 2014-2020. Approximately 65% of funds are intended for the region East Slovenia and 35% for the region West Slovenia.
