The summer school by Passa Ao Futuro<\/a> is a fully funded 2-week intensive workshop taking place at Loul\u00e9 Crtiativo in Loul\u00e9, Portugal. Design, architecture and craft students are invited to explore techniques of basket weaving<\/strong> with five traditional Portuguese\u00a0 raw-materials to co-create a series of new pieces with five Portuguese master craftspeople, guided by two design mentors.<\/span>The objective is to innovate and push the boundaries of these techniques in the twenty-first century, culminating in an exhibition of new pieces. <\/span><\/p>\n

Applicants must be over 18, have a strong interest in craftsmanship, and be able to attend the entire course with scholarships covering tuition, accommodation, and meals for selected participants.<\/span><\/p>\n
