An impulse talk by Ludwig Engel, an expert in the field of architectural and urbanist storytelling in our eyes (but in fact a futurologist), will open the event. This will be followed by a short case study demonstrated by Bureau N. A discussion with Engel and two additional guests of the FA Festival, and moderated by Bureau N, will mark the close of the event.

What is it that Bureau N as a communication agency does? They find, uncover and develop stories – stories everywhere, stories in art, in design and in architecture (and in other things we like). What is it that Future Architecture is looking for? It’s looking for visionaries. Visionaries are storytellers. Are architects storytellers? Can architecture be a narrative?

Bureau N is convinced that every good architectural project contains a story. Sometimes it’s tricky to see it, even if it stands there right in front of your eyes. Without a story there’s nothing to talk about, a situation rendered impossible for communication. We want to tell the story of how to detect the stories in architecture projects and eventually, how to tell these stories.
