MAO invites applications from individuals and institutions for projects in progress, experiments and ongoing research in architecture, design and photography.

The purpose of this call is to select recent projects that will be presented in shorter-running exhibitions as part of the MAO programme. In 2017, MAO will select 4 projects and provide them with production funds in the amount of EUR 1.500 (gross), basic technical equipment and support, as well as the exhibition/implementation space.

Application documents:
– project and subject specification
– short biography of the author/authors
– illustrative photographic /video material
– indicative financial framework for the project
– project schedule with preferred date of implementation (dates are included in the Terms of Participation)
– contact details (name and surname, email address, phone number).
 
Deadline and how to apply
The deadline for applications is midnight, Sunday, 26 February 2017. Please send your applications by email to: nikola.pongrac(at)mao.si, and add “Application for Project Space MAO 2017” to the subject line (you will receive a return email to confirm that we have received your application).

Selection
Applications will be reviewed by MAO’s panel of experts. Applicants will receive notification of the results of the selection process, by latest 9 March 2017.
